About PostPath Server VMware Edition
PostPath Server VMware Edition is a VMware virtual machine image (or "Virtual Appliance") with Linux pre-installed and of course with the PostPath Server setup and ready for final configuration in your network. You can run PostPath Server VMware Edition in the free VMware player, or within other VMware products such as VMware Workstation or VMware ESX.
PostPath Server VMware Edition enables you to leverage the benefits of virtualization for your corporate email infrastructure. Available virtualization benefits include rapid hardware-independent deployment, avoiding operating system installation, virtual snapshots for backup/restore, virtualized replication and high availability, and hardware migration without service interruption (VMotion).
And thanks to the exceptional efficiency of the PostPath Server software, you may even be able to run additional applications like Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES) or a Windows domain controller packaged together in one virtual environment.
